Thanks, Jill. All this is great stuff to keep in mind while your teaching your kids. I know I learn so much better when I have the opportunity to learn at my own pace and in my own way. Thanks for stopping by, Jill!
Craft Crush {Back To School}
Because I don’t have any school-age kids yet (next year…), I am not doing a lot, okay… any… Back to School posts. Big J will start preschool again in a couple weeks and he is beyond excited, but I am just so not in the mood for back to school right now. I still want vacations to the beach…
But there are some pretty awesome back to school goodies floating around blogland and my denial shouldn’t mean you miss out. So… if I did have back to school on the brain… these are the projects I’d put on my to-do list:
I don’t have school kids, but I do have teacher friends and they would love this. I have heard about more than one day where this may have totally been the situation in the classroom… Christmas gifts? You can find purchasing info via the link above or click on the photo.
Even though I don’t have to pack lunches for my kids, they still insist on eating lunch. Every. Day. Gah. Sometimes, it’s hard to come up with ideas and my kids don’t love repeats everyday either, even though we’re at home. These are some great ideas! Check out all 30 ideas at Peanut Blossoms.
Teacher Gifts They Will Actually Use
While keepsakes are cute, they are rarely functional. What’s one person going to do with 28 hand-print vases or 32 apple necklaces? Seriously. Get them things they can use. Check out ThriftDee for some ideas on what to give your favorite teachers.
These are super adorbs and I love all the info on them. Use them as photo props and then you’ve minimized the space to record all these great memories even more. Awesome sauce. I may have to do a photo shoot with my kids just so I can do this… You can find purchasing info at Whimsical Printables or go the DIY route. Your call.
Weekend Wander #136
I will try to get features put up tonight… but it’s been a crazy day. Let’ get the party started! Annnd…. GOOOO!
{Printable} Life Doesn’t Have to be Perfect
So, in my kitchen there is very little wall space. It’s all cupboards and cabinets. Which has it’s pros and cons. However, I do have a big ole expanse of blank, empty wall above my refrigerator and I have been working on a gallery wall for several months. It’s turned into a bigger project than I initially intended, but I am determined that it’s still going to get done. It will, it will!
This is one of the quotes going on our wall. Right-click on the image and “save as” to your computer. You can then print right at home. The file is formatted to 8×10″. There are also more color options available in my Etsy shop, if you’re interested. It’s an instant download and you get all of the files shown. Enjoy!
