momma gets stuff done
Wow, sorry for the HUGE failure on my part with the party this weekend. I’ve been working on some things for my Etsy shop and I completely forgot to post this! AGH. So, so, so sorry. So, without further adieu… Link ’em! And GO!
Ingredients:
– 1 lb Rotini (spiral) Pasta
– 1-2 Tomatoes
– 1/2 cup Sliced Mushrooms
– Italian Parsley
– 15 oz (1 jar) Alfredo Sauce – We prefer the Clasico brand, but any brand works
Directions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the box.
2. While the pasta is cooking, slice your mushrooms, dice the tomatoes and chop up the parsley.
3. When pasta is tender, drain and return to the pot. Turn the stove to medium heat.
4. Add the Alfredo sauce to the pasta and stir gently. Add the mushrooms, parsley and tomatoes to the pot. Cover and simmer approximately 5 minutes, stirring every minute or two.
5. Sprinkle a little garlic, if desired. Serve.
Serves Approx 4
Hey all! Sorry I missed last week’s party… my cousin came to visit and we took off for the weekend. It was pretty fabulous – a super quick, jam-packed trip to the California coast. Got me a little beach fix to kick off the summer season. Anyways, I kinda forgot to get this week’s party set up beforehand and, well, no features yet. If I get a chance later, I’ll add them. However, we’re still moving………. ugh, don’t get me started. Annnyyways… Annd, link ’em up!
Making a house a home is a lot of work! Like crazy a lot. But even though we are still split between two houses, winding our way through mountains of boxes and unsure of where things are located presently, there is no where I’d rather be than with my family.

Hey, all. Sorry it’s been a few days and I’m sure it seems like Weekend Wander is the only thing I post anymore, right?! We’ve been SUPER busy trying to move out and move in. We have visitors coming this weekend and they will currently be sleeping on boxes! Eek. However, I snatched a few minutes (ok, closer to an hour) to create this.
