October Spooktacular: Oldies, but Goodies

So, although October doesn’t officially start until tomorrow, I decided to go ahead and get Halloween started.  Because, well……. I’ve been wanting to do Halloween for like a month.  But, I kept it to planning and scheming and dreaming and, all I have to say is you are not going to want to miss this!  Pinky Promise.

We’ll finally get to meet a few of the new contributors (you’ll meet the rest next month).  I have some very cool projects planned (potion bottles and DIY spell books for starters… sneak peek, anyone?), some yummy snacks and treats, some fun things to do with the kiddos, a date night or two, some fun printables are coming your way and a fun announcement should round out the month.  It’s gonna be fabulous.  And there might be a giveaway or two in there as well…

So, welcome to October Spooktacular, Fourth Edition at While He Was Napping.

As the title of this post implies, let’s take a look at the best projects, recipes and decor from the past three years.  Some of my favorite posts {of all time} come from previous October Spooktaculars.  So, enough yammering.  Let’s dive right in:
1.  DIY Witches Broom
2.  Flying Bats
3.  Googly Eye Frame
4.  Cheese Cloth Ghosts
5.  Halloween Specimen Art
1.  Reversible “Spooky” Plaques
2.  Haunted House Plate
3.  Vinyl Witch Silhouette
4.  Paint Chip Pumpkin Party Favors
5.  Eerie Painted Candles

1.  Batty Lamp
2.  Tombstone Cupcakes
3.  Spiderweb Nachos
4.  Printable Halloween Activities Countdown Calendar
1.  Halloween Subway Art
2.  Witches Subway Art
3.  Orange, White, or Black Subway Art
4.  Eerie Halloween Subway Art
5.  Witch Themed Printables
6.  Halloween Sampler Party Pack

There’s a lot more than this floating around in the archives.  Like Creepy, Crawly Pudding Cups, more printables, a super simple Jack-O-Lantern Jar and some yummy Caramel Apples!  Take a look back through the October Spooktacular archives and see what treasures you can dust off.

Come back tomorrow for the first Contributor Post.  There’s a cool little Halloween project just waiting to post.  Here’s a hint:  It’ll add some awesomeness to your October wardrobe!

I'm Krista. Ringleader here on While He Was Napping, wife to my handsome Mr. Right & momma to my THREE energetic boys, Big J (9), Little J (6) & Little N (4). We FINALLY added a beautiful little girl to our family last December.

I’m knee-deep in Tonka trucks & Thomas trains. I survive our crazy days with Vanilla Coke, Sonic slushies, sweet snuggles and little giggles. When I tuck them in tight & kiss them good night, I get a little time to create & just be me.
